Yep, Miracast.
HBOGO should be available by the end of the year, they say.
The main draw (for $20 - besides Miracast, remote, and mod-capability) is it is a stick and portable. Just grab and go to take wherever you'd like.

I'm in. This seems pretty neat to me.

I'm out.
Even though nearly every page of the site asked me to try Prime for 30 days, even after logging into my account. I was immediately charged for the full $99. Had to cancel. Too bad. Fire is pretty much not on my buying list at this point. Going to pick up a ChromeCast for just a bit more. Not Miracast, but maybe close enough for now. Or maybe a Roku 3 if I could get one for $60. I see one for just under $70, but I'm trying o shave just a wee bit more off. A refurb is fine.

RAM,
It is like a Roku, Apple TV or Fire TV shrunk down into a simple HDMI stick. It apparently does casting (like the ChromeCast or AppleTV with AirPlay or Roku 3/stick with Miracast), but it also can run apps and games directly on the device. Comes with a remote to support direct control. Where the Chromecast is purely an adjunct to other devices, the Fire Stick can exist as a stand alone device.
Pretty neat and super cheap. Too bad I no longer have Prime. I'd have to pay the full freight, not that the price is bad. The Fire Stick is still cheaper than the Roku HDMI stick and not much more than a ChromeCast (on sale for $28.30 at the moment).
