Your right, It's a PN43F4500AF 43" Plasma

Ah. Thanks. I know that as a person who only has room for maybe a 40" set or so, Plasma has long been a tough sale for me. Plasma has catered to larger screen sizes for years and left the sub 42" sizes for LCD. Which is what I ended up with because of space limitations. Thanks for the info, I figured it was worth a look.

The 51" at Best Buy still seems to be available.

It seems to be, but when I tried to purchase the other day, it was one of those wild goose chases where you had to find a store that had one in stock, apparently they weren't, and then the site would get all wonky and unresponsive. Ordering for home delivery worked, clicking through several pages, until it finally said "Not available for delivery in your area. Try in store pickup." Bag of hurt. I even got an email this morning asking me to complete the purchase of the 51" that was in my cart. Tried to proceed just for the heck of it, and the same thing happened.

No matter. My order from B&H seems to have gone through. I'd rather order from them than Best Buy anyway if it weren't for the fear of getting a lemon. I'll probably add a Squaretrade warranty from Costco.

B&H is the only reputable dealer I've found that had them in stock. I don't trust "East Coast TV." The Samsung site points you to Onecall and Beach Camera which say its available for pre-order...for $2199. ::o

Yep. Happened to me with some video games that were on clearance. No shipping, had to choose in store pickup, but things got wonky as I tried to search for stock.
