I assume so, but honestly, I'm not sure. As I said, I just stumbled across it while looking at other things. I still think the number of views is a better indicator of popularity. Neither have much to do with radio and/or streaming play.

Views is definitely the primary barometer. YouTube use "likes" to determine how to share your video to others that like what you like.

I recognize and like many songs from the list, but they should say videos. That’s different.
Actually, YouTube videos… even worse. It’s a bot pissing contest.
