If you live in an area that gets snow, make sure you get mats that are deep all around.

Looks like they do make them for VW, but are out of stock.

Bummer... forgot to mention they were $135.

We've been in the mountains over a dozen times this winter. Snow is one of the reasons we want the mats.

The weathertech ones are a harder plastic with some texture. Some of the OEM ones are very rubbery and grippy like a tire. I think that is the difference people are talking about when they say the Weathertech is slippery.

I'd give up my right nut to find floor mats for the back seat of my taxis that wouldn't slide around.

I'm sure it depends upon the vehicle, but I went with tuxmat because they offered better coverage in back - aka the cracker zone.

Weathertech guy lives in my town and I have several sets.

That said I like 3W brand on Amazon. They are heavy rubber not hard plastic. They are also custom "laser" fitted mats per specific vehicle.

All of my weather techs have curled up on the sides and this drives me crazy.

Check out 3W. You will not be disappointed.

Have you tried velcro strips underneath to hold them in place?

For the 2018 version of my car, they only list "Universal fit, trimmable for your car". The floor is the same for my model, but I still don't want to have to cut to fit, especially for that price.
