Way way way back before I was born, my parents had a black cat they named Nubian. They always called him Nuby, so I guess nowadays people would think his name was Newbie, but in fact it isn't something my Mom would do today.

I think in most other Spanish speaking countries, that would be NEH-grow.

Either way, probably not the best choice outside those countries.

Morena might be an option.

Well, if one of the cats were female, or chose to be non-binary.

I once worked with a woman named Morena, a lovely name.

True cat's names are ALWAYS a work in progress -D

Never had one yet that didn't go through a boatload of names during their time here on earth … one or two will likely stick, or more likely become part of a much longer "real name"…

The one in the Tux is obviously James... The other one is obviously Felix. Maybe they'll get all the girls, and martini's shaken (not stirred)...


Or, the Tuxie is Hook, and the black one is Booze.
