Wow. The end of an era. Must be tough to watch it go. The few record stores left around here are into their second and third generation of family ownership. Hard to compete with iTunes Music Store and Amazon.com though. A niche is necessary. The neighborhood probably changed several times since the store opened, though.

Progress? It's not likely you'll see too many polka specialty record stores in the future …
