[quote dmann]One other thing, Desmond is HOT when he isn't all scruffy. Add him to the yummy "Men of Lost" list.

How about next time we start two threads- one for actual discussion and one for all the women to get all mushy about the 'men of lost'.
![]() But seriously, I think this was one of the best episodes in a while, I mean we actually got to see some real stuff happen. They finally got to the boat (which honestly I thought would have been a lot bigger). About that- Where is that girl they kept trying to call from the Island? There doesn't seem to be very many people on this boat. I think everyone and their brother caught that the book from the auction was from the boat on the Island, not sure how that will play out though. I guess Penny's father has some vested interest in finding this Island as well as Penny herself. So I began to wonder- Did this Doctor Daniel guy decide to come to the Island because he was looking for Desmond, or rather needs Desmond in the capacity of him being a "constant"? I mean he is a scientist and probably couldn't resist studying this, but it seems he knows a lot more than anyone else does at this point, and nobody seems to realize how important or valuable his knowledge is, yet.

I have the hots for Juliet so we can have another thread for that. I need to watch the episode again after more sleep. I don't recall much of it.

In the episode where we met Daniel Faraday weren't we told that the lady with him was his caretaker? So is he, was he, will he be, disabled at some point?

LOST kills all of my women.
![]() Locke shot the my latest crush. She survived! But then succumbed to her wounds. May she rest.

BTW, that large sailor guy on the boat played a Goa'uld named Zipacna on Stargate. He was Klor'el's archon, lawyer, when the Tolans were trying to decide whether or not to separate Klor'el from his host Ska'ara. His name is Kevin Durand.
And yes, I know I have spent way too much time watching Stargate over the years. ![]() ![]() ![]() Whippet, Whippet Good

Would I just be stating the obvious to point out a connection between Daniel Faraday and Michael Faraday (electromagnetism scientist from 1791)?
