Obama the great warrior?
#21
Yes! Dakota gets it! :-)

Just about every article that has appeared in the MSM regarding our missile strikes, under President Bush, have lead with "X civilians killed", "Missile strikes orphanage", yadda yadda. But for Obama's strikes it's "people killed". A madrasa was hit, but it's "unsure" if any civilians were hit. Now we are attacking "al Qaeda and Taliban targets" not civilian villages.

Transparency in the MSM is alive and well.

How did this quote get attributed to me?

Edit: After further review, it was the psycho, Dakota, who said it. You are insane, Dakota. STFU.

You missed the whole point of the OP. The dig was at the MEDIA. Perhaps it was too subtle for you?

Is it me or is Swampy alway explaining a post saying it means something else?

Post a link. Gimme a break. Why don't you try www.nyt.com. Oh, I forgot the dates. Try 2001-2008.

ps

Are you related to Sargent Schultz by any chance?

I know plenty and I post links to support it. You, on the other hand, make blanket generalities that you never seem to be able to defend.

I apologize for that, Dennis, I quoted you quoting Dakota instead of quoting the original statement.

Here's what I found, without trying very hard I admit, in the way of arguments against the war in Iraq, culminating in a speech by Obama himself.
Yes, the killing of innocent civilians is one of the objections.

Was it GW who flew fighter missions as a Lieutenant Junior Grade in the Navy?

Bush 42 was bomber pilot. Being a combat vet does give you a unique perspective. How does one truly know war unless one takes fire. GW was shot out of the sky, he's lucky to be alive. If a bullet had come a little closer, we'd have no GWB. Whatever his faults, he knew enough about war not to get into a long protracted conflict.
