Seems to me that we've had a "Clinton" in power at the most elite levels of government for sixteen continuous years. For Hillary, it's been eight years of shaping public opinion and presidential influence as First Lady, then another eight years living on the hog and shaping legislation as a Senator.

My response was about the Clintons but since you ventured the question the answer is the Bush's have been in public life and sucking at the public teat longer than the Kennedys.
