At my house it's known as CSI Long Beach as better than 90% of the footage is shot in and around Long Beach CA. Next time your in the neighborhood keep your eyes peeled for big yellow signs for the film crew which simply say "MIAMI" with an arrow pointing the way to the shoot...

In fact I regularly see the film crews in the marina area that I drive through every day on my way to and from work and it's not uncommon to see the cast, replete with Miami Dade Police cruisers and giant Hummers, standing around while they setup between shots...

FWIW they also shoot a lot of Dexter and the new courtney cox show "Cougars" in LB...

I'd read that before & it's good hearing from someone who has seen it first hand.

The show is visually stunning but the characters are loathsome.
