I have to fly on Northwest in about 2 weeks. This story does not inspire confidence.

I'm flying Northwest across the cold, dark, Pacific in a couple of weeks. I'm going to ask the FAs to check on them every 15 minutes.
Won't help if your pair is drunk rather than oblivious.
Gonna send 'em in with lots of coffee.

Don't know which is worse, hot ball of flames or cold abyss.

This whole situation shows how immediate reporting by a kneejerk media serves no one.

Kneejerk media? Are they making up the stories or reporting what information has been released. Maybe no news should *ever* be reported until it's been vetted and substantiated at least three ways.

Then we can whine about how long it takes to get the news, unkneejerked.

I'll take alleged kneejerk news over the kneejerk analysis and pontification of Forum Experts which also serves no-- well, actually that's almost always self-serving.
