Official Keynote Post It Here Thread !
I still say if the Air were to be able to dock into an iMac, it would make a really sweet machine.

AppleTV and rentals permit watching as often as you want within 24 hours.

Hmmmmm sounds a lot like when the original jellybean iMac came out doesn't it (What - no ADB!!! No Floppy!? WTF!)? And we all know where that decision has led us.

Yeah, but at least they replaced the ADB with USB. In this case, they just left it off.

Did you guys get to hear the song Randy sang?
It went like this.

Thin MacBooks got no reason
Thin MacBooks got no reason
Thin MacBooks got no reason
To live

They got little ports
And little keys
And they surf around
While the Sonys freeze
They got little chips
And tiny little drives
They show new rentals
So that AAPL thrives.

Well, I don't want no thin MacBooks
Don't want no thin MacBooks
Don't want no thin MacBooks
'Round here

Thin MacBooks are just the same
As other Macs
(Other laptop Macs)
All Macs are brothers
'Til the warranties end
(Drink your tasty Kool-Aid)

Thin MacBooks got nobody
Thin MacBooks got nobody
Thin MacBooks got nobody
To love

They got little nubby feet
And they stand so low
You got to pick 'em up
To see the Mac logo
They got CPUs
That go beep, beep, beep
They got little speakers
Goin' peep, peep, peep
They got iPhone touchy pads
And hidden iSight eyes
They're gonna see you every time
Well, I don't want no thin MacBook
Don't want no thin MacBook
Don't want no thin MacBook
'Round here

It's a great little machine -- or will be in 2010.
Right now it is overpriced and underpowered.
It replaces neither the MacBook on the low-end nor the Pro on the high-end.
I have my doubts that it will fly off the shelves, but it a couple years all its innova -- er -- thinnovations will be incorporated into the more mainstream 'Books and everything will be right with the world.

So how's this for and end game? MacPro-like tower with slot to insert Air (ala Duo), slot for iPod and or iPhone. Inside the tower, AppleTV, optical drive of choice, Time Capsule Airport/server and HDs. Wireless HD monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer. Did I miss something?
