I just bought a 37" LCD to replace a 23" LCD for my bedroom. Moved the placement from the dresser a few feet from the side of the bed to on the wall opposite the bed - about 14' away.
It's fine, but I keep thinking I should have gone with the 42".
I bought a refurb Olevia from MicroCenter on sale for $300. Picture's great. Got the wall mount bracket and HDMI cables from Monoprice.

32 wall mount in the bedroom. Our 13' viewing distance works well. I wanted to put a 40", but it was just too big. :-(

I am shocked at the large TV sizes people put in their bedroom. My main TV is 23" and as mentioned, the bedroom TV is 20". Both LCD. I think 26" would have been perfect in the main room, but I chose to save some money. The smaller size hasn't bothered me in the least.

we upgraded from a 1997 CRT 20" Panasonic (which broke after 8 years) to a 24" CRT Samsung in 2005, and that's the only TV we have in the entire house.

I mostly use my two small TVs as displays anyway. Video games, Macs, and a Roku box are the primary form of entertainment.

I am shocked anybody puts a TV in the bedroom. The type of light that the TV gives off keeps you awake and, once you do fall asleep, inhibits your deep sleep. Hugely correlated with poor sex lives (correlation does not mean causation, of course). I just don't understand it. If you're in bed w/ your honey...try giving each other a foot massage instead. Make your own TV show

.
Or, at least, have a rule that only PrON can be played it..jeez..
