Hey, if he can upgrade the RAM in an old 8500 without removing the motherboard, he's the guy I want holding the knife for MY surgury!

What you really mean to say is that they threaten your world view. Or what you mean to say is that Katie Couric, et.al are real straight shooters? LOL! My world view has never been threatened by clicking on an MSNBC, CBS, ABC, or even a Huffington Post link. In fact opposing views are often healthy! More to the point, Fox News may be right. A friend had gallbladder surgery last month. In its infected state, it had attached to the intestine and the surgery lasted several hours longer than expected. She is healthy and 29, but her recovery has been rough and as a result, she has lost 25 pounds and she had to go to the doctor once a week to make sure there were no signs of infection. BECAUSE her doctor was that worried about the possibility considering they had to detach the gallbladder from the intestine. Can't imagine what the same instance might do to a 77 year old man. But then again, if you click a Fox link, Rush Limbaugh might jump out of your computer and attach a right wing brainwashing diode to your head. If I can click on a site that features Keith Olbermann, you surely can go to the news part of Fox News. ![]() If you can't, then you should have simply kept your biases to yourself.

I wouldn't click on a fox link.
Yes, out of fear. Fear that I'll get really, really angry thinking about the hundreds of thousands of poor slobs watching that garbage all day and believing some or all of it.

You know Black, that is rather sad.

There have been ample examples of the Fox News "news" section putting out false information (always biased towards their political mission) so it is simply not a reliable place to get any information. It has nothing to do with "world view" unless you're talking about the fact that I prefer my world view to have a factual basis. Fox news is an advocacy organization, nothing more. I wouldn't mind that except that they claim to be a news organization. If I can click on a site that features Keith Olbermann, you surely can go to the news part of Fox News. Why would you want to click on Keith Olbermann? I certainly wouldn't. He is simply biased on the other side of the coin. You don't learn anything from hearing people shouting on TV. To tell you the truth I pretty much ignore TV news shows. Fox News opened up the creed of the "new journalism" by creating an entire channel for the sole purpose of pushing a political agenda (aka propaganda) and removed any semblance of objectivity. It seems to me that some of the other (formerly more objective) news channels have followed suit in a race to the bottom. This is the culmination of the rot that Edward R. Murrow warned us about.

Dan Rather faked the Bush documents.
Charlie Gibson threw softball questions at candidate Obama while he grilled Palin (have the interviews if you want them). I find the obsession with Fox odd and can only figure it is due to their "conservative" bent, while the "liberal" press is given a pass. When I see you say, oh a CBS link, I will not click on that I will believe you. Otherwise I see a bunch of people upset that tradition liberal networks are losing the rating wars because their coverage is predictably elitist and biased and the public is voting with their remote controls.
