Let's face it here most of these doubters, just like some of relatives, cannot stand the fact that there's a
black man in the White House and they will never, ever get over it. After spending election night at the
home of my late parents and it just so happened all my siblings and their spouses were there. That was
truly the one time in my life that I was ashamed of my family. The behavior of said individuals that
are educated, supposedly Christian people, most with respectable professional careers was just beyond
comprehension to my wife and I. I finally had my say and we left.

I think that feeding trolls is generally a losing proposition, but the argument that Obama is legitimizing racist trolling (sorry, I guess the official term is tea partying) by adding even more proof to the already mountainous level of proof that he is American born -- why, this is upside down logic. The argument wasn't that Obama reacts to political stimuli -- of course he does, because he is the politician in chief. The argument raised by the birthers is that Obama is not an American. And they have been hanging out on the end of that limb for two years now, only to have it sawed off. And Obama is right that we don't have the time to devote such a huge fraction of our national energy to silliness. He is actually being overly polite when he uses that word. I use a nastier term.
An interesting historical comparison: I was watching some fairly trite historical take on Queen Elizabeth's relationship with Phillip back when she was a princess. The telling part came in the postwar history of Britain, that included failing energy supplies, the worst winter in half a century, failing exports, and every other manner of misery. And there was the Prime Minister speaking on the radio, saying that they were all in this together and had to work their way out of the situation. I compare this to the Republicans, who revel in divisiveness and tearing the country down, and I recognize them as traitors to American values. I suspect that at one level even they recognize this, because they are obsessive about wrapping themselves in the flag even as they weaken our nation.

I try my best not to feed this Troll but sometimes... and yes I know, it's exactly what a growing Troll needs.
Personally I think anyone that doesn't give some sort of positive information in the Tips and Deals forums
should be sent to virtual Disneyland, aka: their IP address blocked.
