Yes, I was just seeing that on the BBC.

Maybe the UK should bomb itself?

I'm not following. What's your point?

When ISIL starts carrying women and children on their transport and convoy vehicles, and situating weapons in among the villagers, what will we do then?

US Special forces did a rescue incursion that failed, what else would you right wing whack jobs have us do?

Shades of Jimmy Carter!

Here's what we should do: We should partner with the Kurds and anyone else who will help and utterly destroy ISIS/ISIL.

Turn about is fair play: What would you moonbats have us do? Sit back and watch while ISIS takes over all of the Sunni Arab world, and sends its robotic Western converts to infiltrate and terrorize the 'infidel' nations?

ISIS, according to Oliver North, is stretched thin over a large territory. Their command-and-control base is in Syria, and they're vulnerable to a concerted attack from the air. Or they would be if we had President willing to take the initiative and wipe them out, as they so richly deserve.

We were winning the Long War against worldwide Islamo-fascism, before this administration came into power. It is scary to imagine how much more we will lose over the next two and a half years—maybe the entire Middle East, including Israel?

Yes, it's 'political'.

You think we were winning before Obama? Man, I would hate to see losing. I would argue our invasion whipped up the fervor to a fever pitch. Do you remember terrorists running rampant through Iraq before Bush invaded?

As far as air attacks, you just can't bomb indiscriminately over a large land mass comprising multiple nations. Ask Laos how our air war on communism in SE Asia worked out for them. There are US bombs all over their country to this day.

Absolutely amazing, the right wing chicken-hawks want to make the same mistake again and send other peoples kids to die in the sand. They have obviously learned nothing.

Seriously.

I mean, this stuff wouldn't happen if these overzealous democrats stopped putting our poor special forces troops in harms way.

The brave thing to do would be to find some small Caribbean island and invade it.

Even better - find a large country with no relation to the events and invade it, costing the lives of thousands of troops and making things even worse than they were before.

That's the kind of decisive leadership that we need.

Domestic surveillance rules are quite different in the UK. Brits have more rights to privacy than Yanks.

But perhaps the Brits would consider bombing Raqqa.
