I don't see why this couldn't be posted on the tips side, as it is a tip regarding Folding@home.

fwiw, there was some whinging about why anyone was bothering with antibody tests.
From the medrxiv preprint server: Santa Clara County results are in based on 3330 people on 4/3 and 4/4: The unadjusted prevalence of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in Santa Clara County was 1.5% (exact binomial 95CI 1.11-1.97%), and the population-weighted prevalence was 2.81% (95CI 2.24-3.37%). Under the three scenarios for test performance characteristics, the population prevalence of COVID-19 in Santa Clara ranged from 2.49% (95CI 1.80-3.17%) to 4.16% (2.58-5.70%). These prevalence estimates represent a range between 48,000 and 81,000 people infected in Santa Clara County by early April, 50-85-fold more than the number of confirmed cases. Conclusions The population prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in Santa Clara County implies that the infection is much more widespread than indicated by the number of confirmed cases. Population prevalence estimates can now be used to calibrate epidemic and mortality projections.

This is the sort of real information that ought to available to the forum as a whole, not confined to a thread in a nook or cranny that needs to be hunted down..
Get real Amin, we're talking about lives here not red or blue !!!

RgrF wrote: Hmmm... Well, just spitballing here... in a discussion on the matter, someone *might* mention that the federal government is doing next to nothing to encourage testing or bring easy-access to tests -- whether virus or antibody -- to the general public. That might lead to some highly descriptive language. Something like "sedition" on the part of the "orange menace and the cohorts he has appointed to tear apart the federal government and ensure the demise of this nation as a world power." So, maybe this is the right side of the forum for this stuff after all.

I can see it being relegated to this side, but why is it all jammed into one thread?
I agree, this should be out where more people can see it. if not on the normal side, at least as a proper subject of its own.

LIBERATE THE THREAD!
(Just kidding mods, we love you.)

As the admin mentioned, anyone can start a new virus related-thread on the FPR side. Doesn't have to be in this thread.

My bad, I did not see the admin instruction. I should have started a new thread on this side...
