I would love to be there but its out of my budget for now.
But I would stand on a corner and do the blind mojo act to see N OS give Rusty a big kiss *(:>*

This is for any of the Members who are definitely coming to the Lunch, in case you didn't receive the email I sent out.

Is anyone is really good at picture taking? Maybe pro or semi-pro?

Besides the requirement for the OWC iTunes offer, I know that we'll want some pictures from our Lunch, so I'm bringing a Panasonic PV-GS120 Camcorder and a Canon 20D DSLR/520EX Flash to the Lunch.

I’d appreciate a couple of volunteers who are willing to spend a few minutes recording the occasion for us and for the OWC iTunes offer using the cameras I'm bringing.

Please let me hear from you.

BTW don’t forget to “Mystery Wrap” your donations if you bring something to the lunch.

Just over three weeks to the Macresources SoCal Lunch!

Looking forward to seeing you all.

In case you didn't look at the first post in this thread here's the info again.

Elmer Dill's review of MCKENNA'S ON THE BAY:

All in all, it looks like a great place for our get together.

I'm still looking for a couple of volunteers to record the event using my cameras.

Thanks,

Attire: Dress up

Hmmmm, does that mean I have to pull out the wedding/funeral outfit for lunch?

Or is lunch casual? I don't mean flip-flop casual, but Vans and Levi's casual? Which is my dress up.

I would think that because it's lunch, Levi's, Dockers, or other similar "business casual" attire would be perfectly legitimate.

I didn't mention that it's Black Tie? Big Grin

MikeF's suggestion of "business casual" sounds right to me.

As I always say, "that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

I'm still waiting for someone to step up to take pictures??? I'm supplying the gear.

It shouldn't take long, just so we have a record to show who attended.

I need help with this because I have some things planned that will keep me occupied and I want to be sure that the pictures get taken.

Surely some of you can operate a camera?

Thanks,

GeneL

No problem there – according to Loki, Jimbo and Rusty are the same person!

Well, I'm thinking casual should be OK if Harbourmaster recommended this place.

I don't think he has any pants according to an earlier exchange in a thread about Mini's visit with him:

Harbourmaster:
>T-shirt, shorts, and bear feet are what we
> wear here 365 days of the year!!!

Pat:
> Let's not get crazy, it was a pouring last
> week!!!!

Harbourmaster
>I'm not sure I even OWN a pair of long pants anymore!

Maybe the bear feet have something to do with it?
