It's really quite a simple reason. Because, as you may know, we men have relatively simple thought processes, especially when related to intimate relations. A lesbian scene implies the possibility of a threesome, or, as a man thinks about it- two possible mates in one spot. The concept that we would most probably be excluded from active participation in relations does not occur to our hormone-driven "thoughts". In most of us, the reproductive organ has an ego the size of Mars.
