PS Gurus: Any Way To Fix Aspect Ratio On Pics?
#1
A photographer has sent me some images shot today in Portugal that he has inadvertently cropped or re-sized or something and the aspect ratio is all out of whack. All of the people in the photos look like they are two feet tall and nine feet wide. Is there a way to fix this afterward or do I try to call his hotel?

'First thing I'd try would be opening a few of the images in Preview to see if the problem is with the images or with Photoshop.

If the pics are really messed up then you might start experimenting by swapping the horizontal and vertical dimensions in Image Size. That will involve resampling and a consequent loss of image quality.

...

I'd call him and bitch a little. Ask him what software he used when he saved the images. See if he can send you the originals.

Good thought!

It could be set for anamorphic display.
