iPhone playlists question
#1
I'm wondering, if I have the same songs in different playlists on the iphone, is the song on there twice? I ask because I have 2 playlists (added at different times). One is Kate's Christmas Music and the other is Acapella Christmas Music. When I synched with the Acapella added, it looked like all the songs were reloading again.

No, the song should not be on there twice. iTunes is smart enough to to sync just one copy of each song; the playlists are basically text files that indicate which tracks to play.

But if it looks like songs are being copied over, maybe it is. If you browse the library by song title, you'll see any duplicates right away.

There is a show duplicates view within the iTunes menus. I am not at my Mac right now, so I cannot tell exactly which menu right now.
