"Dragged By Subway Train" === too dumb to let go of doomed purse
#1
In Boston. Would anyone have cried in NYC ?

Am I the only one who thinks this 'injured person' should have just effing let go ? Seriously... The contents of your purse are NOT worth life and limb.

Bet you would have held on exactly as long as she did, Mr. recurrent BI poster child . . .

... but, it's a wicked nice purse.
Handbag. Half of an apartment fits in there.

It could have been her.

A few T incidents lately.

When the doors are closing it looks like she is trying to get them to recycle like the green line doors do. Not just trying to get her handbag back.
I don;t know if all the red line doors have been retrofitted to pressure/object sensitve 'open back up' like some do on a baby stroller or backpack.
There's also a bit of politics involved.
The MBTA hiring practices are 'unique'. Many want more qualified people applying and doing interviews.

Maybe she had her paycheck cashed in there and losing that would result in her not being able to eat for 2 weeks. Hard to know the circumstances, but yea I would have just let go.

Also worth noting that the article mentions two T employees who were supposed to be monitoring the situation were disciplined. I think it was a while back where there was an accident on the Green line because the driver was texting instead of driving the train.

Thanks for taking it in the spirit it was intended.
Your right pre-frontal area is functioning within normal parameters (at least).

The resolution isn't stated.

No telling what was in that purse, or how nice it was. But as mentioned, the contents could have been very important.

She didn't appear to be dragged at all, but was running along with the train. She might have taken a tumble at the end.

Glad to see disciplinary action taken.

Still wondering if she got her purse back.
