FINALLY!! scored my Mac Pro 8 Core 2.26

I was determined to wait for Apple refurbs to go below $2799 but I sensed after all these weeks that they weren't going to budge and I was starting to think I might as well go for the refurbed new 8 Core 2.4 (but I was choking on dropping over $2900).

Today I stumbled on NEW Mac Pro 8 Core 2.26s for $2398 + $30.49 shipping on Amazon from Mac Consulting Unlimited and pulled the trigger.

Yes, not the speediest clock nowadays but it will be plenty fast for my Pro Tools, CS 5 graphics and web work and certainly faster than the current G4 933 that I still use at home and had bought from CompUSA for $1200 ages ago.
