I'm glad for no tyrannical gubmints, etc., but, with all the taxes, I cannot afford a tablet. Y'all made me forget what I wanted to say!

Ahem, okay, for me, what I really want is to be able to get an iPhone with no data plan; that's right, I only care about being online using wifi, then using the phone as a regular phone, not going online under Edge, g3, g4, or whatever they come up with. It's the extra monthly fees for data usage that I do not want. For over a year, I have been using the "free" phone from ATT and my iPod touch for wifi - my system works great for me, but I if I could get an iPhone without data plan, it would be perfect for my kind of usage... it won't happen. Tablet? Ehhhh.... probably not for me, but I'll see...

All I really want is iPhone with verizon service. AT&T coverage just plain $ucks where I am. have and love my 2nd Gen iPod Touch... would replace with new iPhone if Verizon service is offered.

Tablet will be too expensive to be practical for a while, I'm sure. Curious, but not expecting the earth to move because of it.
