my friend filmed a video they need to have edited and burned to dvd.
i can do this if they can send me their footage.
usually i send large files through yahoo messenger without problems but it just kept coming up error.
maybe its because it's an .MTS file?
idk.
she says its 3gigs
any help finding a Free way to transfer this would be appreciated!! thx

Dropbox is the easiest, but the free version is only 2 GB. If you recommend jim, then you both get 250 MEgs and will still be short of 3 GB. $10 a month would get you exactly what you want. Would you have any reason to transfer large files once this project is over?

Dropbox came to mind first. I thought I read that they had increased the storage but I'm still seeing 2GB.
I've never used it but there's a firefox plugin called Gspace that uses your gmail storage space in a similar manner. Not sure about individual file size limits, but overall my gmail has some 7GB so it should fit.

Yousendit for those big files.
