Dropbox is the easiest, but the free version is only 2 GB. If you recommend jim, then you both get 250 MEgs and will still be short of 3 GB. $10 a month would get you exactly what you want. Would you have any reason to transfer large files once this project is over?

I was going to recommend Dropbox, too.

Dropbox came to mind first. I thought I read that they had increased the storage but I'm still seeing 2GB.

I've never used it but there's a firefox plugin called Gspace that uses your gmail storage space in a similar manner. Not sure about individual file size limits, but overall my gmail has some 7GB so it should fit.

Yes, Dropbox just increased the amount of free storage you can get to 10 GB (2GB plus 250MB for each referral).

"Is there a limit or maximum to how big my files can be?
Files uploaded to Dropbox via the desktop application have no file size limit. There is, however, a 300MB cap on files transferred via the website.

With that in mind, the files in your Dropbox must also be smaller than the size of your Dropbox account's storage quota." - from https://www.dropbox.com/help/5
