final NOTICE?!....the fate of 'Burn NOTICE' and 'Cash Cab'....
#1
.....'Burn Notice' renewed for two more (not just one) more seasons and 'Cash Cab' will be back...

'Burn Notice' and 'Cash Cab' renewed

Michael Westen will continue to give handy spy lessons for USA.

"Burn Notice" has been renewed for a fifth and sixth season at the NBC Universal network, reports Variety. The two seasons ordered is a big vote of confidence, especially considering the fourth season still won't air until a couple more months.

Discovery Channel has renewed "Cash Cab" for a sixth season....

Host Ben Bailey masquerades as a New York cabbie who offers his fares cash for correctly answered trivia questions on the way to their final destination. Incorrect answers could result in getting booted from the cab earlier.

yay ! I also like both of them.... and yes, even though the 'sexual tension' has been 'scratched' between the two main characters in "Burn Notice", the hot is still there. Hope they don't go the way 'Moonlighting' did when the two characters finally consummated their relationship.

And "Cash Cab" is a hoot- the self-proclaimed omniscient New Yawkers sometimes say the darndest things.

I'm astounded at how many questions they have no clue about.

Racer, I agree on all counts.

I'll never win a Jeopardy! episode, but GEEEEZE, do all the smart people drive?

And Burn Notice is another favorite of mine. Although Donovan does walk funny. I wonder if he's another "foreigner" faking an American accent.

And sexual tension is a good thing. Off the top, my favorite example was Mack and Rab. (Anybody remember the episode were she tells Rab- "AWwwww, you made a friend"?). Nothing was certain until the final episode, and even then...

I remember the episode where he had a concussion, and she walked into his office (in a dream) in one heck of a nice nightgown......

I assume you mean "talk funny" instead of walk. Nope, not a "foreigner", born and raised in Amesbury, MA.

.....he walks funny.....but that isn't about the part.....more about his after hour activities......

Oh, come on. What New Yorkers would those be? I haven't yet met anyone here who claimed to be omniscient.

With my luck, if I ever got into the Cash Cab, I'd get questions about recent pop culture or arcade games of the 80s and get tossed out after a couple of blocks.

BTW I caught a glimpse of a friend in one episode: the passengers got out at a bar where he works security.
