"2012" the movie, any good?
#1
I am planning on watching "2012" tonight, and I was wondering how bad/good it is. It just came up in the NetFlix queue, and there isn't much else on tonight, so I might as well watch it.

No spoilers please, although I think I did read something about the ending, and obviously I already know what the plot is about.

I agree. Fun to watch (but John Cusack is always entertaining).

......didn't see it but the word around town is you really have to 'suspend disbelief' and just sit back and enjoy it for the action/disaster movie that it is.....

It has great special effects, but it's such a long movie that the effects get boring after awhile. IMO, nothing else to write home about...

Rent Beerfest instead... the unrated version also has great special effects and the story is interesting.

Action started faster than I thought it would and kept going. Amazing effects.

if you like The Day After Tomorrow - you'll like this one...

really just a special effect extravaganza so if you like that kinda thing - this is probably the best though avatar is up there...
