we have a growing guatemalan community here.
Speak very little english - don't have car licenses.
They walk - or ride bikes.
One or two drive beat up old Civics.
All and always against traffic on the wrong side of the road.
Very nice people. Love to work.Always smiling. Even as you almost kill them because they ride their bikes on the wrong side of the road.
Small bikes - they're rather short and round. And smiling.

So, as a cyclist, they would certainly pose a threat to me being on the wrong side.
But do you think you'd be any more likely to kill them in your hummer because they're going against the flow?
In their minds I'm sure they do so because they're used to very narrow roads with no shoulders and need to be able to see when it's necessary to bail due to a wide vehicle.
