There's nothing quite so beautiful as the fluttering of hummingbirds, either in their mating dance or in a territorial dispute. They're such delicate, precious creatures.

That feeder is 1 of 5 in my backyard & a similar dance was taking place at another one a few feet away.
There could be a dozen feeders & they'd still fight over 'em.

I had to rescue one that flew into the house last night - she was up in one of the skylight - about 12 feet up - I finally got her to sit on one of the LONG dusters and shook her off outside. They have such high metabolisms, I doubt she would have made it through the night.
