Some good unbridled rage can be cathartic I suppose:

Before too much longer the Democrats are going to look like the most cohesive of the two parties. :jest:

Karl Denninger: To The Tea Party: Go Screw Yourself

Yes, I mean it.
I, and FedUpUSA, ought to sue anyone using this moniker for their so-called "political affiliation" for defamation.
Yeah, that's a joke.
But so are you.
All of you.
Especially Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Bob Barr, and douchebag groups such as the "Tea Party Patriots."

Notice what's missing from this mission statement and principles: Any mention of why I and others led people to mail tea bags to Congress and our President in the first place: rampant theft of over taxpayer money propping up FAILED private businesses.
Then look at what's over at TeaParty.Org: you'll find the usual pablum. Guns, gays, God.

The nice thing about rants is that they are generally unfocused. As is this one. I'm amazed Godwin's law wasn't evoked.

I will agree that the TEA group has not got a handle on actual solutions to the problems at hand.

But then again no party seems to. And no campaign ad seems to be capable of saying "I will do X to solve Y". So I'm left with the usual voting decision...

I will vote for the candidate who appears to be less of a moron and more in tune with my interests and needs. (However I will NOT vote for candidates simply because they look like me. We've got enough chubby greying white guys up there.)

If you mean that the Democrats do have a handle on solutions to at least some of our problems but don't have the ability or political will to get them through the House and Senate, then I'd agree.

At least they're thinking about long-term problems like energy, health care, and education. But it's too bad that these problems will never be solved by our current system of government (and that includes the possible election of a crowd of TEA simpletons). Which brings us back to the Benevolent Dictator fantasy thread from a few days ago...
