If you have an eSATAp port, here is a great cable/adapter

Here is an eSATAp port

It is basically a port that can be used as a USB port or an eSATA port. I've been looking for a SATA adapter that could be plugged into this port that would use eSATA for the drive's connection but would also use USB for the drive's power. Such an adapter would give fantastic data speed and wouldn't require a separate power cable. I found this cable earlier in the week. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003IT6PH2

This cable works perfectly. Can't use this cable on a Mac, but if you have a laptop with an eSATAp (USB/eSATA) port then you can use this cable.

If you need to plug a 2.5" SATA hard drive into your computer, this is a great cable/adapter http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-FreeAgent-...B003IT6PHM

While it says it is USB3 it works perfectly with a USB2 port. Best Buy has them in store for $10 + tax.

I picked up that kit bundled with an ExpressCard USB 3.0 adapter http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003KGBBR2 for $1.55 shipped from Amazon via TigerDirect. (^_^)

I was gonna post the deal here, but as soon as I submitted my order the deal sold out.

The best thing about the FW800 item jdc links to is that, and this is what I LOVE about that Seagate system, it will work with any bare 2.5" drive!
