I'm superstitious about memory cards.

I always use Sandisk and haven't had a problem to date, touch wood.

Knock on wood, I've never had trouble with SanDisk.

I have Sandisk and PNY

there are fakes out there, though.
Beware low prices.

The people I know trust Sandisk. I had a bad stint with Lexar but I am slowly coming back around. I am currently 75% Sandisk, 25% Lexar.

I have maybe five Sandisk and one Kingston. Three or four of them are 1GB cards that are 4-5 years old. The only problem I've had with a Sandisk card so far is losing one. It's probably here somewhere, but I cannot find it, nor can I remember enough about why I swapped it out of the camera to figure out where to start looking. Nice 4GB SD-HC card, in use since April 2009.

I just buy whatever is cheapest at dealram.com and find one that has a lifetime guaranty. I bought an ADATA a few years back that went bad...returned for a brand new one. I didn't think it'd work, but sure enough it came via USPS a few weeks later.

For the price of a brand name, I can get 2 'generics'...of course, you risk losing the pictures for that 1 session....YMMV

I had a bad experience with Transcend. I already had second thoughts when I was about to buy it but the cheaper price got me. Sandisk is the still best one I could think of. It's so reliable.
