Another Thunderbolt docking option

Belkin Thunderbolt Express Dock.

It's like having all the features of the $999 27" Thunderbolt Display without having to shell out for the display. No word on pricing yet.

I would buy one just for the FW800 port and the built-in GIGABIT! Ethernet. I had used a 27" Apple display for all of 2 days and it went back; the screen is so glossy that it was like looking into a mirror. I got the Dell U2711 instead (matte screen) and have been very pleased.

Hopefully they include a TB cable in the package.

Is it USB2 or USB3? The article doesn't say.

Isn't the TB half cable built into the dock?

Is this TB-powered, or does it have to be plugged in?

looks like USB2.

I want one with an eSATA adapter.

eSATA port or TB doesn't exist.

What?! No ADB port? Forget it.

Seriously though, it doesn't have a DVI port? Can I only connect it to a TB compatible display?

Also, what's with the shape? Looks like a prototype especially because DC-in is on the front.

Nope, the DC in is on the back. Look at the direction of the Belkin brand label on the top surface. I suspect it is designed to show a clean curve to the front when on your desk and have the cables come in from behind.

Oh. That's the back? I guess I figured USB ports would be on the front but I guess the idea is to hide all the ports.
