Got the news alert a short time ago. Very sad.

This is sad news. Steve is—well, was, I guess—one of the greatest innovators in the history of this country, on a par with Thomas A. Edison. Let's hope Apple can continue to reflect his drive, determination, and pursuit of excellence.
