Re no. 2: Ice cream?
My wife (an MD) frowns on bacon, so we rarely see it in our house. Back in the day, I used to put bacon in my spaghetti sauce. Now my wife makes the sauce; hers is good, but mine was better. /Mr Lynn

I was *just* thinking about cooking up some thick cut bacon. I have started cooking it in the oven, and likely won't ever go back to the stovetop.

We're having BLT's for lunch today. Not the fancy shmancy added ingredients kind, but the basic formula of: bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo (real) on toasted white bread. :yum:
