Biden wouldn't abide Ryan's lies!
Yes, again, another wonderful phrase that I'll give to the Democratic Party.

It was far from boring. It was like a reality series episode. Did Joe bully him? Yep. Ryan thought he could lie his way through and it didn't work for him. Debates can be intense. Ryan needed to bring the intensity. His true passions involve destroying the government by starving it of income, and making sure the takers get what's coming to them. If he had just focused on what he's passionate about, open and honestly, he could have been more effective. So now, the GOP has to spin a loss as a tie or a win.

"If Romney beat Obama, then Biden beat Ryan."
(I quoted myself to make it seem more official) That cannot be argued. (Well it can. but my fingers are in my ears.) If Romney's attitude and delivery was acceptable then in the same breath you can't say Biden's wasn't. There was no draw. America doesn't do draws, fer cryin'out loud! And as for this being the best you have, well, what else you got? Biden looked like a statesman, he acted like a man sick of lies and buffoonery- I would have thought old school righties would approve of that. Ryan looked forced and robotic, stale even. Watch him as he speaks, he doesn't have conviction in his own words. He tries to be convincing but fails to pull it off- you can literally see the hours of practice and effort he put in in front of the mirror! Biden was calm and relaxed, until he finally had enough and made it apparent that the man sitting beside him was full of it and told him so. This was no draw, and as a viewer, it was also far more entertaining than the first Presidential debate.

You have to wait a few hours and pop into a few news sites to find out who won. And then wait another 12 hours or so to see if it becomes a simple "win" or a TKO. I'm not sure who makes the call, but it may involve a toin coss.

Point taken. We who watched it aren't supposed to know what to think until we are told.
My bad. " it may involve a toin coss." :bunny: |
