the famous Blue Grass Mandolin player and I think he worked for Gibson Guitars at one time. Killed by a drunken driver, illegal...driving on the wrong side of the road and hit Charlie on his motorcycle.
He will be missed if you are in to Blue Grass.

Charlie was a master mandolin builder @ Gibson and was the GM of the Original Acoustic Instruments Div. there.
Truly a sad story and a great loss for the music world.
