Sung to the tune, 'If I only had a brain':
I could wile away the hours
Shoppin' for some flowers
My cart not ambiguous
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I was contiguous
For purchases big or little
For any individ'le
Alas I'm discontinuous
(Dorothy)
With the things that you'd be buyin
Anything you fancy you'd be tryin'
If you were contiguous
(Scarecrow)
Oh, the crap that I would buy
Cross the oceans to my door
I could buy of things I never thunk before
And then I'd sit and buy some more
I would not be just a nuffin'
My head all full of stuffin'
My heart all full of pain
I would dance and be merry
Life would be a ding-a-derry
If I were only contiguous

I think it's always been that way.

"household members" is kinda loosely adhered to as well. When it was in beta, a friend high up at amazon extended prime beta to my (then) wife, and another friend.

So... if your "family" created a new account to buy amazon prime and use the streaming video rights amongst the whole family (i.e. common logon) then you could share the 4 subaccounts for shipping purposes to 4 real people who do not necessarily live under the same roof?

yes gabester, assuming perhaps you weren't logged in from 4 or 5 different locations at the same time.
My GF's ex-husband has Amazon prime (he works for Amazon) He loaned her his Kindle, and we were watching streaming stuff from Amazon here at our house, while I believe he was using it 25 miles north of us on his laptop. It worked at that time.
