Need new earbuds for my iPhone 4... iPhone 5 earbuds or other?

I don't want to spend a lot... But, I really need a new set of earbuds ASAP (For the gym mainly)... Probably two sets seeing I "borrowed" my wife's awhile back and hers are now crackling in the left ear as well.

I heard good things about the iPhone 5 earbuds.

My daughter likes the new Apple earpods that I got her for Christmas. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to them though.

I've tried the new earbuds that came with my wife's iPhone 5. Honestly, I don't like them. The old ones stay nicely in my ears; the new ones keep falling out, especially when out running.

I guess I have tiny ear canals or something. I've never been able to stand Apple's earbuds, and the earpods hurt almost immediately. I prefer silicone tip buds, and then I usually have to stick on the smallest tips.

I wear my earbuds while doing yardwork and at the gym, so I'm pretty hard on them. My favorite basic earbuds are SkullCandy Smokin Buds. They're not great, but they do have a lifetime warranty and I've never had trouble getting them replaced when they fail. You fill out a form online, print it out, send the earbuds back, and they give you credit for their online store so you can replace with the same model or try something else.

I'm fond of MEElectronics cc51 earbuds. When I can pick up a paid for $25, I do. Their warranty is a year, and you have to have purchased them from an authorized dealer. Overstock.com is an authorized reseller.

I'm a fan of V-Moda Vibe Duo. On my third pair in about six years. They've crashed due to my own abuse...I use them all the time for running, cycling, yard work, etc. Maybe overkill, not sure if you need inline control and mic.

My teen son loves the earpods. I must agree that they are a lot more comfortable than the old ear phones.

The new Apple earbuds are a lot more comfortable and I don't see how they would fall out, but I haven't ran with them yet. I love them for yard work, they stay in my ears better than the old one and better than foam ones. They do sound better but if your a audio freak I would look elsewhere.
