FU: Crucial new tech SSD order from Tiger Direct

I just received an email from Tiger Direct. My Crucial 512GB SSD sold to me for $199 was originally backordered and was scheduled to ship sometime in the middle of July.

Instead, they had inventory available and shipped it today.

I have a lot of OWC SSDs, but this Crucial comes in at ~$100 lower price and higher capacity than what our sponsor offers.

I got the same email today, AFTER getting an email yesterday saying it had already shipped.

So far they've given me two different tracking numbers, none of which are valid.

If those are UPS numbers, that makes sense. It does not always show up until UPS picks up the package. It happens to me with newegg orders all the time. I think UPS allocates a block of numbers to newegg and UPS does not know which numbers was used until they pick up the package. On the other hand, when I sell something on Amazon and buy shipping from AMAZON, UPS must know about the tracking umber right away since it shows up in the system even before I drop off the package at the UPS store.
