I hope your covered... many insurance companies will not cover an accident happening between two vehicles owned by people living under the same roof.

That almost happened to me when I backed into my house sitters car the morning after coming back from vacation. The agent said as she was living at my house, it was excluded. Luckily some fast talking turned her into a house guest rather than a permanent live-in. So be very careful how you phrase your statement to the agent - don't lie, just don't volunteer information.

Good luck

Unless the ask for clarification, just say you backed into a parked car....

I feel your pain.

I ran into my honda civic with my wife's minivan when she borrowed the civic and parked it outside the garage in the middle of our driveway. Not blaming her, mind you - I should have looked behind me before I pulled out for many, many safety reasons. But I normally don't have other vehicles in my driveway, so it was different.

Both quarter panels were damaged.

I still can't believe I did it!

Busted up my dream car.

Four door wagon, in really good shape.

Before, at around 2 in the afternoon.

At about 6:30...
