Looks to be about a $600 value. I'd pay close attention to the warranties, especially on the speakers.

Crutchfield often has some good deals on Denon receivers. Deal or not, I'd trust that more than slickdeals, but YMMV.

Yeah, it's not really 50% off but it's a very good deal. The only reason it's not a RYF is because Denon just announced their new line of receivers. Like, there was the AVR-1911, replaced by the AVR-1912, replaced by the AVR-1913, but now they're going to some whole new system.

With receivers, you can't ever assume the new model is better than the old one. But in general, Denon receivers typically drop about 25% in May after they're discontinued.
