Greetings from Costa Rica!!
#1
My wife and I are here celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary.

What a beautiful country! However, it took us 3 hours to drive 80 miles from San Jose to La Fortuna de San Carlos.

Lots of outdoor activities around the Vulcan Arenal. We've been horseback riding, hiking to and swimming under a waterfall, hanging bridges hike, and zip lining. Tomorrow, we are going to hike on the slopes of the volcano before going to some thermal springs around dinner time. We have done some lounging and relaxing as well.

Have a great trip. If you get a chance, drive up to the volcano observatory. We stayed there a couple of years ago (it's partly a hotel). It has great views of the volcano and they have a pretty nice restaurant and a great patio area to hang out on.

Where else are you going? We really enjoyed the cloud forest at Monteverde (wet), Manuel Antonio park on the west coast, and the little town of Montezuma on the Nicoya Peninsula.

Good times! From one DavidS to another DavisS.
Enjoy, I'm jealous, we missed out on Costa Rican trip last year.
Still planning for our 30th in the spring.
Do what we do, cram as much in as you can, you can rest at
work, er- I mean at home.

Welcome to Dave's BBQ!

Have a great time!
I haven't been in over 20 years, so I am sure it has changed quite a bit.

Nice
15 years and the vacation spot.

The Caribbean and CA is one place I haven't been to beyond a couple days in Puerto Rico.
Some day I'll get further into the Gulf than Key West.
