T-storms last night. No damage at Deckeda Central. Rain this week is slowing my deck extension project and threatening to make me cook inside!

Had some rain, but nothing awful. It looked like the majority of the heavier/worse storms were to the south of us. They are saying we should get more bad weather tonight, oh joy.

My mother-in-law lives right in the city of Atlanta and she called to say she had no power. Also, my daughter said she had to take several detours on her way to work, also right in the city, so I suspect there might be a lot of downed trees on power lines and such. All this rain and wind has been bringing the trees down like crazy.

And, I had better not see that extra chipmunk in my yard!

so far it seems to have been a big nothing here on the southside of Atlanta.

almost 4 inches of rain last night...no power for a couple of hours...a tornado watch which has now expired, so I guess we're ok for now.

The power flashed here several times but did not go out.

My cousin's have heard that their farm in Oneonta suffered some damage from a neighbor there, and they're on their way to check it out.
