Complaining on a Company's Facebook Page
#1
Hi all,

Am extremely upset with a division of American Express and I was advised to complain about it on their FB page. How responsive are companies to such complaints in your experience? Thanks.

From my limited experience, I find that most company's official FB pages either don't allow posts directly by others or they filter and delete the negative ones. There are certainly exceptions. Good luck.

try it...Twitter can also be effective as well, but it really just depends on the company.

I had a truly terrible experience at a Target Pharmacy last night.

I drafted the text, need to make it shorter if I want to complain via Twitter!

I got faster internet and a $20 cheaper monthly bill by complaining on TW's Twitter page. And then negotiating with the customer service rep that called me afterwards (because the previous reps I'd spoken to were either unable to actually help or understand what I was trying to do).
