MR Forum Fit Club: Almost wet my pants

Wetting yourself wouldn't be so bad.

I've almost shit myself several times. That's a risk you take when you run first thing in the morning.

Does the effort required to holding it in burn more calories?

Only if you are laughing... and it involves stings on toes.

A little off topic:

Walking can irritate my Achilles tendon, & I've got this condition on both feet:

Curious if anyone else has the same, & if they were able to manage it w/o surgery (debridement).

At worst I've had to take a course of methylprednisolone to cure the inflammation.

stop wearing women's shoes silly.

I'm missing my daily rides, my new job requires walking for 8 hours and by time I get home I ready to hit the shower. I do 17 miles on my days off. Perhaps when it cools down a bit I can ride after work. Drinking lots of water and watching what I eat.

I don't have the same but try taping the back of your heel. I always tape. Two or three strips of Ace tape may help a lot. Also, do light intervals, we run between two utility poles, then walk two, repeat, repeat, repeat. Works different muscles and works your Achilles differently. And definitely get orthotics, never use store bought pads. Be sure your heel isn't moving up and down in your shoes by using heel back pads. Walgreens has some nice pads - get the gray ones. Ace tape:

No, but once it drys it counts as weight loss.

I rode my bike to work every day last week - tho I did get a ride home twice due to circumstances beyond my control.

Getting 'the munchies' far too often, which means no additional weight loss.

I DID discover my current belt does not have any smaller holes because I tried to close it tighter for a pair of shorts. That's promising...

Thanks!

But I don't know if I can swear off those high heels...
