Ombligo,
No kidding. If only they would get a product guy in there that understands developers. A veteran in the industry. Someone who doesn't have much to do but watch basketball.

I think Cook and crew have done a sufficient job of lowering people's expectations over the last 3 years that the letdown backlash will be minimal regardless of what is or isn't unveiled.

Wow, that's actually kind of true. Even so, the iPad Air, mini retina, and iPhone 5s are all pretty swell products (given an appropriate budget). I'm pretty meh on the other mobile devices released in the same time frame.[/quote

Not so sure. TC has pushed for new product categories as the goal, as he's been slammed for calling the iPad mini a new device category.

Can you imagine the backlash at this point if all Apple reveals is a new iPhone today?

You can get scroll bars to always show in Sys Pref/General. There is a check box there for this feature.

I would just like Apple to quit fixing things that aren't broken. Get Mavs stable. Will Yosemite fix Mavs issues?
Does anyone know a way to-or an app-that returns scroll arrows? I would like to not use two hands to scroll on my MBP... I know, I can "scroll" by clicking above or below the scroll handle, but it jumps too much or too little. Annoying.

One thing that is true - Apple seems to give a little and take a little away when they refresh devices.

Never a full forward step. And I'm an Apple fan.

Whatever it is, if I buy it, as usual it will be the third generation when it hits the refurb store.
