Got my leaves into a large pile and had hoped to run them through the shredder but alas 3" of snow and temps in the teens put a serious delay into that project. Long term projections suggest a colder than average and above average precipitation winter.

Your mistake was piling the leaves. I let them blow onto the neighbors' properties where they can do with them as they please.
