Lots of news shows had stories about this. The real deals for winter clothes. e.g., are after New Year, and electronics deals come after Christmas.

I agree. I spent several hours from Wednesday through this morning online. VERY few true deals to be had as far as I'm concerned. I stopped in a Home Depot yesterday looking for power tool accessories which would make good stocking stuffers. Everything at regular prices. Last time I saw anything close to what I would consider a "good deal" was back on Veterans Day.
